01Treat each opening as its own repair
A back-door handle that resists lifting may not have the same cause as a front-door key that catches. Describe when each fault occurs and whether it has become worse. This lets the visit be scoped around the actual problems instead of assuming the same replacement suits everything. Compatible parts and the way each door closes should both be considered.
02Prioritise what cannot be secured
An opening that will not lock should be clearly identified when you call. Other planned changes, such as replacing keys after a move, can be discussed alongside it without confusing the immediate task. If windows also need attention, include whether they close and how the handles behave. Agree the required repairs and any optional upgrades as distinct parts of the work.
