01Turn a bundle of keys into a clear plan
List the external entrances under your control and decide where a new set of keys is needed. Include a side or rear door if its old keys are also uncertain. Shared gates or building entrances need separate consideration and permission. You do not need to send photographs of key cuts; a description of the doors and the reason for the change is enough to begin.
02Schedule the work around access to the property
A proposed moving date can change, so confirm when someone authorised can be there. Explain whether you have working keys and whether the property is accessible. Ask what the quote covers for each lock and how many new keys are included. If a door catches against its frame, mention the fault; changing the key cylinder alone may leave that problem unresolved.
